Takme Buda  is a fictional character on the NTV-produced television series Meri Bassai. He is portrayed by comedian actor Wilson Bikram Rai. He is an old war veteran who has fought World War I and often tells his story to other people about how he survived in the war. He belongs to Limbu community and has a strong Limbu accent.

Wilson Bikram Rai was born in Birtamod, Jhapa Nepal where his father and sister still resides. He studied in Little Flowers' English School in Anarmani 4 Jhapa Nepal. His mother Mrs Kamala Rai died when he was 9 years old.
